How To Make 6 different Types Modak (laddu) Recipe without mould

Ganesh chaturthi is incomplete without modak (laddu), basically modak (laddu) is a dessert which is prepared on the special occasion of Ganesh chaturthi. It is popular in Maharashtra.here I have prepared 6 types of modak without mould which is very easy to make on this special occasions ganesh chaturthi.

 

  1. Besan modak
  2. Rava kesari modak
  3. Gulab(Rose) modak
  4. Paan modak
  5. Chocolate modak
  6. Mawa modak


INGREDIENTS OF MAKING BESAN MODAK:-


  • GHEE-1/2 BOWL
  • GRAM FLOUR- 1BOWL
  • POWDERED SUGAR-1BOWL
  • CARDAMOM



HOW TO MAKE BESAN MODAK EASILY WITHOUT MOULD:-


STEP.1
Add 1/2 bowl of ghee to the heated pan, add 1bowl of gram flour (besan) and roast it well until it turns golden for about 5 minutes.

STEP.2
When you feel the aroma of roasted gram flour, swithed off the flame, add some cardamom seeds and transfer to the plate  for cooling down.

STEP.3
Once the mixture is cool down, add 1 bowl of powdered sugar and gently mix the dry ingredients and make sure that there are no lumps of powdered sugar.

STEP.4
Take a some portion of the mixture on the palm and make a ball then flate it like a poori.

FOR STUFFING-


 Add some fine chopped dry fruit to the centre of the mixture and give it a modak shapes.

FOR GARNISHING:- Garnish the modak with pistachio and silver vark.

INGREDIENTS OF MAKING:-

GHEE- 1TSP
MILK- 1/2 GLASS
MILK POWDER- 2TSP



HOW TO MAKE GULAB(ROSE) MODAK:-

STEP.1
Add 1tsp of ghee to the heated pan, add 1/2 glass of milk, add 2tsp of milk powder and bring milk to a boil.

STEP.2
When the milk is boiling up, add some rose leaves, add 2tsp of semolina (suji) and gently stir and cook continually on a medium to low flame.

STEP.3
Add pink food colour to enhance the colour, mix it well again and cook it until the mixture turns thickenes.

STEP.4
Once the mixture is thickens, swithed off the flame then add powdered super as per task, add some few of rose essence to the mixture and mix it well.

STEP.5
Mixture is ready and transfer to the plate, let it leave for about 5 minutes. When the mixture is cool down, knead it for a min and give them a modak shapes as I mentioned above.

FOR STUFFING:-
 Add dry ingredients on the centre of the mixture and give them a good shapes


FOR GARNISHING:-
Garnishing the modak with some rose leaves and silver vark.


INGREDIENTS OF MAKING RAVA KESARI MODAK:-


  • GHEE- 1TSP
  • SEMOLINA- 3TSP
  • KHOYA- 1/2 BOWL
  • POWDERED SUGAR-1BOWL
  • MILK-1/4 GLASS
  • SAFFRON
  • CARDAMOM
  • DRY FRUIT



HOW TO MAKE RAVA KESARI MODAK:-


STEP.1
Add 1tsp of ghee to the heated pan, add 3tsp of semolina (suji) and roast it till it becomes golden on low flame, add 1/3 glass of milk, add 1tsp of saffron milk, add 1bowl of powdered sugar and mix all the ingredients gently.

STEP.2
When the ingredients are mixed, add 1/2 bowl of mawa(khoya)and stir and cook on low medium Flame.add cardamom seeds, gently cook it until the mixture is thickens.

NOTE👉
 DON'T COOK OVER ELSE THE MIXTURE MAY TURNS HARD.

STEP.3
Mixture is ready now transfer to the plate and let it cool for 5 minutes.
When the mixture is cool down, knead it for a min then give it a modak shapes.

FOR STUFFING:-
 Add some chopped dry fruit as per choice on the centre of the mixture.


FOR GARNISHING:- Garnishing the modak with saffron and silver vark.

INGREDIENTS OF MAKING PAAN MODAK:-


BETEL LEAVES-5 TO 6
WHITE SUGAR TO TASTE
FRESH CREAM- 1/2 BOWL
GHEE- 1TSP
COCONUT POWDER-1BOWL
MAWA FOR BINDING

HOW TO MAKE PAAN MODAK:-


STEP.1
Add chopped leaves to the jar, add white sugar as per taste, add 1/2 bowl of fresh cream and make a smooth paste.

STEP.2
Take a pan, add 1tsp of ghee, add 1 bowl of coconut powder and roast the powder for about 2 minutes on low flame.

NOTE👉
 KEEP THE FLAME LOW ELSE THE POWDER WILL BE BURNT.

STEP.3
For binding add 1tsp of mawa(khoya)and then add smooth paste to the mixture and gently mix the ingredients and keep the flame low.

STEP.4
Add green food colour at this moment to enhance the colour and stir it well.

STEP.5
Now mixture is ready, transfer to the plate and let it cool for 5 min. When the mixture is cool down, knead it for a min and give it a good shape like modak.

FOR STUFFING:-
Add gulkand (Rose jam) to the centre of mixture.

FOR GARNISHING:-
spread coconut powder to the modak.

INGREDIENTS OF MAKING BISCUITS MODAK:-


Biscuits(as per choice)
Fresh cream-2tsp
Cocoa powder-1tsp
Vanilla essence- few drop
Powdered sugar-1tsp

HOW TO MAKE BISCUITS MODAK:-


STEP.1
Add biscuits, add 2tsp of fresh cream, add 1tsp of cocoa powder (unsweetened), add few drops of vanilla essence to the jar and make the paste slightly hard.

STEP.2
Transfer the mixture to the plate, add 1tsp of powdered sugar, grate some chocolate to the mixture (optional) and mix all the ingredients very well and give it a modak shapes.

FOR STUFFING:-
Add dry fruits to the centre of mixture

INGREDIENTS TO MAKING MAWA(KHOYA) MODAK:-


Mawa-1bowl
Sugar-1/2bowl
Coconut powder-3tsp

HOW TO MAKE MAWA(KHOYA) MODAK:-


STEP.1
Add 1 bowl of mawa(khoya), add 1/2 bowl of sugar to the jar and grind it well.

STEP.2
Take a pan, add 1tsp of ghee(clarified butter), add paste to the pan and roast it on low to medium flame until it turns golden, add 2 tsp of coconut powder, add cardamom, add dry fruit, Add mix it again and keep the flame low.

STEP.3
The mixture is ready, transfer to the plate and let it cool for about 5 minutes.

STEP.4
Once the mixture is ready, transfer to the plate, add 1tsp of ghee, add 1tsp of milk and mix it again and give it a good shapes.
