How to make aloo halwa fasting recipe | Potato halwa recipe step by step with video

Aloo halwa recipe is an Indian dessert which is very tempting and delicious, mostly  Aloohalwa is preparing at the time of Fasting. I have made this Aloohalwa with a little twist. In this aloo halwa, I used few ingredients.

INGREDIENTS OF MAKING ALOO HALWA(POTATO HALWA)


  • Raw potato- 1
  • Boiled potato- 1
  • Dry fruits
  • Sugar
  • Ghee


STEP. 1
Take the potatoes one of which is raw and one is boiled, peel them and grate the raw potato, mash the boiled potato as well.

STEP.2
Take a heavy bottom pan, add ghee and let the ghee hot, once the ghee heated up,add grated raw potato and roast it over low to medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes.

STEP.3
When the grated raw potato is roasted as per required, add boiled mash potato and mix it with roasted mixture, stir and cook it over low flame.

STEP.4
On this stage add sugar as per needed, add cardamom,add dry fruits and stir it gently until it turns golden brown.

STEP.5
When the mixture is turns golden brown, switch off the flame and transfer to the bowl. Garnished the halwa with dry fruits

SERVING SUGGESTIONS:-

Serve the aloo halwa hot.
